Quality Assurance Engineer
FinBytes is a new branch in Lithuania of an established FinTech product, specializing in an Investment Portfolio Management System. Our platform handles high-volume trades in the U.S. financial markets, where quality, precision, and security are of utmost importance. We've even won industry awards for customer satisfaction!
With our rapid growth, we’re expanding our tech team and seeking an experienced QA Engineer who is proactive, resourceful, and thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Test Strategy & Execution: Design and define test strategies, suites, and cases. Execute manual and automated tests to ensure the software meets high standards for performance, reliability, and quality.
Automation: Develop, maintain, and recommend test automation tools to streamline testing processes. Work with tools like Cypress to optimize testing for functional and performance requirements.
Collaborative Development: Work closely with developers and stakeholders to understand product requirements, contribute to testability improvements, and provide feedback on potential quality issues.
Problem Solving: Identify, document, and track bugs in our bug-tracking system. Develop solutions and utilities to eliminate inefficiencies and drive process improvements.
Documentation: Maintain thorough records of test cases, results, and defects, ensuring transparency and accountability across the QA process.
Continuous Improvement: Research and suggest new tools, methodologies, and strategies to improve our QA process and overall product quality.
Requirements:
Experience: 4+ years of QA/testing experience, with hands-on involvement in both manual and automated testing.
Automation Expertise: Proficiency in test automation frameworks and tools (experience with Cypress is a plus).
Testing Methodologies: Strong understanding of QA best practices, test case design, test execution, and bug tracking.
Agile Familiarity: Solid experience working in Agile/Scrum environments, including test automation and continuous integration practices.
Independence: Ability to work autonomously, manage time effectively, and stay on task with minimal supervision.
Collaboration & Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, able to clearly articulate ideas and feedback to cross-functional teams.
